Before starting the program, I felt defeated by other plans I've been on. I've had success, but couldn't maintain those eating plans for the long term. I would go in cycles of "strict" plans and then "binge" eating everything that had been off limits. I didn't feel comfortable with myself around food. I have lost weight, but what is more important to me is the stress I've lost. I don't worry about food in social situations, while traveling, or when food isn't in my control. I have so much more peace around how I eat and with myself. I have complete confidence in my ability to maintain this lifestyle forever.
I was constantly at war with myself and I was never going to get anywhere if I kept living that way….I am so happy I did the work! These things will stick with me for the rest of my life! I feel so much more confident with my body and how I look, because I know I can trust myself. I’ve lost the weight physically, but I feel that I’ve lost more mentally!!!
I've been able to maintain my weight for 2 years --even in a pandemic. I have found freedom around food. it has taught me to be my own authority and LISTEN to my body instead of following some regimented set of rules or a program. The biggest benefit hasn't even been weightloss, it's been learning to trust myself more than anything outside of me.
